Each puzzle has two elements to it. The first part has a series of words you need to discover, and write in the column provided from top to bottom. The second part are words you need to discover, and cross out from the column. The remaining letters will provide you with the answer to the puzzle.
The first puzzle that appears on the next page is a sample and will show you how to solve the rest.
We have stayed faithful to the original puzzles that were created in the 1920’s, so please take this into consideration when trying to solve them. This includes the use of American spelling of words.
